Stowe Arts Week

July 21 - 29, 2018

This summer, Stowe will be the epicenter of the arts when the Stowe Arts and Culture Council presents the first ever Stowe Arts Week 2018 to celebrate Stowe’s long history and involvement in the arts. From July 21 – 29, Stowe Arts Week will feature events from a wide variety of local arts and cultural organizations.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Date: July 21, 2018

  • Daily: “Reclamation” exhibition will be on view in the Main Gallery at Helen Day Art Center
  • 9 – 11 a.m.: Stowe Land Trust will be holding a Nature Photography Walk
  • 4 – 8 p.m.: “Exposed” – Helen Day Art Center’s outdoor sculpture exhibit, featuring an opening walkabout
  •  7 – 9 p.m.: Tab Benoit will be performing at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center

  • 7:30 – 10 p.m.: See a classic tale come to life with “Heathers the Musical,” produced by the Stowe Theatre Guild. Showings are Wednesday – Saturday

Date: July 26, 2018

  • 4 – 5 p.m.: Join Stowe Land Trust for a family hike up to Sunset Rock
  • 4 – 6 p.m.: Stowe Historical Society will also be hosting “Steve Perkins: Vermont.”
  • 5 – 8 p.m.: Browse local art and sample a variety of handmade goods at Stowe Vibrancy’s Art on Park

Date: July 27, 2018

  • 4 – 7 p.m.: Meet the Artistic Director of Spruce Peak Chamber Music Society, while attending an Opening Reception for the Exploring Air group exhibition at Edgewater Gallery

Date: July 28, 2018

  • 6:30 – 10: 30 p.m.: Join a Fiesta Lawn Party and a screening of Coco on the Cultural Campus Lawn in the village, presented by Stowe Vibrancy
