Sauvignon Blanc Tasting
Back to Trapp Family Lodge
Join the Trapp Family Lodge in our Wine Cellar as we introduce you to some Sauvignon Blanc wines chosen by our sommelier, Michael Keene. Please reserve at (802) 253-8511.
Sauvignon Blanc is a wonderful white produced all over the world and gaining more popularity here. Its bright bold acidity makes it a great summer white as well as a good food wine. It also comes in a wide variety of styles from the bossy grapefruit flavors of New Zealand to the more refined minerality of the Loire Valley.
We’ll taste wines from both those regions as well as one from the south of France, one from California and one from Washington State.
Hope to see you.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. (802) 253-5742. Doors open 4 p.m. They suggest you arrive no later than 5 p.m. to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. Tasting ends at 6 p.m.
