5 Reds from 5 Countries
Back to Trapp Family Lodge
Join the Trapp Family Lodge in their wine cellar for a 5 Reds from 5 Countries wine tasting event on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
These 5 red wines, some probably familiar, some probably not, are each a good representative of their countries of origin. Malbec from Argentina is generally well-known, it is their signature grape. Agiortiko from Greece is not so well known but it is a popular red grape native to Greece. Everyone reading this I imagine is familiar with Cabernet Sauvignons from California. If not, I invite you to attend more tastings in our fine cellar. Syrah from the Rhone Valley is also generally well-known. Zweigelt you may not know. It is the most popular red grape in Austria and this one is a sparkler which is unusual.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations at (802) 253-5742. Doors open at 4 p.m. They suggest you arrive no later than 5 p.m. to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. The tasting ends at 6 p.m.
