The more snow, the more fun. Go skiing or snowboarding (even at night). Ride a sled, join a pick-up ice hockey game, trek through the snow on snowshoes or on the back of a dogsled. There are outdoor heated pools and indoor ones, great pizza, burgers and shakes. And the town is small and safe enough that middle-schoolers can wander around on their own. Local kids do and they’re here to tell you where to go to have the most fun in their town and on their mountain—Mt. Mansfield is the highest in the state.
