Mr Pickwick’s Gastropub and Restaurant, established in 1983 by English owner operators Christopher and Linda Francis is renown for creative fine cuisine and the “Connoisseurs Collection” of 150 fine ales, an extensive international wine cellar, vintage ports, 70 Scottish single malts and a large selection of  boutique Gins.  2011 brings a series of special ale, wine and malt tasting dinners.  

Dinners are hosted in a private dining room. Guest speakers will provide expert and entertaining information about the techniques and styles of the featured breweries, the ingredients and the often colourful characters and history associated with them.

Each event will feature a menu of four courses especially designed by Chef Jeremy Somerset of Ye Olde England Inne to reflect the regional cuisine of the brewery’s location.
