LibraryThe Stowe Free Library is located in the Helen Day Art Center on School Street. The library shares a restored 1863 Greek Revival building with the Art Center which hosts exhibits, small concerts, educational and children programs. The Library, 802-253-6145 , is the central location for information and independent learning in the community. The Vermont Room collection which includes books, clippings and reference sources is an excellent place to learn more about Stowe and Vermont. Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The Stowe Free Library houses approximately 25,000 book titles, 1,800 film titles, 1,400 audio books on cassette and CD, 200 music CDs, and 106 magazine, journal and newspaper subscriptions. Post OfficeThe Stowe Post Office is located two blocks off Main Street at the end of Depot Street. There is a branch located on the Mountain Road (Route 108) at the Gale Farm complex. 802-253-7521 .

WeddingsOver 500 couples are married at our Community Church each year. Stowe is a popular place to exchange marital vows for many reasons. Couples are attracted to Stowe because of the natural beauty of the mountains and classical romantic charm of the historical village.
